That’s what you call a buzz – really.  The idea of a small bunch of not so geeky but really clever it – engineers made it’s way to Alexa traffic rank 5,646

And so they are getting nearer to players like friendscout24 who approach their coustomers way more professional – but seems like being all pro is not allways what the user wants.
Or even more, I think the users like just that about Die Lokalisten.

Basically Die Lokalisten is a social networking service based on invitation (like e.g. googlemail), it’s still free to use, there is no advertising on the site. The service let’s you connect to other people, see whom they are connected with and discover the people in your “homebase”. There are event planners / unfort you can’t search or sort them / the Loklaisten do lots of offline parties – mostly in munich where the service was born and where the Lokalisten are located.

There is sooo much more to say – but sooo little time ;) I’d like to say give it a try and see for yourself, but as mentioned it’s based on invitation. But drop me a line if you are interested and I’ll get you in ….

There are a lot of social networking sites popping up around the world. I am a little confused as to what this site has that some of the others do not. It looks like they are focusing on the German market, but that will hurt them in the end. MySpace would not have 70 million people on it if it were not international.
