Qype  –  where do you want to go today?
/unfort that claim is taken already by some software guys in redmond/

qype- people

qype is a quite new player in the German web2.0 / yellowpages/ social-network market/. But at least some of the people/heads behind the oh so new and friendly start-up company are pros and in the business since years/or decades/ one of them is stephan uhrenbacher who has been working for some big and well known players in the i-business before.(such as Travel Channel, lastminute.com, Bild.T-Online, DocMorris)

qype

qype –  is a service that let’s users generate reviews to local places and businesses. like insiderpages in the US it’s a free platform open to everybody.

The best SCHNITZEL in town –Steinheil Muenchen

Riesenschnitzel

Something great about this service is the possibility to add your own content and review to a given or a new added business / place. There are loads of basis-addresses in the db already, but you are free to add some if you like. Big plus cause this way you get new/great/none-commercial places into the system that other old-fashioned players like YellowPages don’t have.

But how to keep all the content up-to-date and how to control what people insert to the system?

I really like this product – I like the smell, the approach and the way of thinking! Well done and I’m excited to see what’s next – where do you want to go tomorrow?
