Froogle-Hack - CTR went through the roof - Use Special Chars!

Today I want to share with you some interesting findings regarding Froogle or Googel Base or however. This is a very easy way to draw a lot of additional attention to your offer. In the classic A.I.D.A. (attention-interest-desire-action) process the first thing to do is to get attention to your offer.
We do know that a good descriptive abstract in the SERPs helps a lot regarding the CTR.

And the below just rocks! The Click-Through-Rate for the Froogle listed items that were in the top 3 more than tripled!

The proposed may be offending the Froogel/Google Base guidelines and if it does not today it will in the future  But as long as it’s … well anyway.

This is how to do it:
1. Go to your Google Base Account:

2. Click on the Settings Tab & Add some Special chars to your Display Name like e.g.  █▬█ █ ▀█▀

3. Save the settings and wait for the update ….
