Eat that Frog – Get more of the important things done today! – Free copy GiveAway

by Frank Fuchs on October 28, 2006

Yesterday at the Heathrow airport I got me the book “Eat that Frog” by Brian Tracy. Why? I’ve read an article/interview over at Philipp Lenssen’s Blog where Niniane Wang from Google answered the question about how she manages to get things done like this:

Getting Things Done is a big issue for many people… sometimes it happens we’re wasting the whole work day putting out small fires without moving forward the main project. What are your approaches to get things done?I recommend the book “Eat That Frog”. It’s based on the quote, “If the first thing you do every morning is to eat a live frog, nothing worse will happen to you all day.” The premise is that you maintain momentum by tackling your most difficult and important problem first thing in the morning.

That sounded reasonably right and funny and well we all know getting stuff done is key. I read through the book during the flight back to Munich. It felt like a very brief summary of all the time-management and strengthfinder sort of things I had been to up to now. Loads of stuff that are really very useful. Others sounding great but I somehow fail to include into my life schedule.

Well now that I’ve read through the book and do have most of the various bits and pieces in other books I own, I’ve decided to give it away for free! And to top it up a little I add a purple Yahoo! base-ball cap and a lanyard. I’ll send book, cap & lanyard to the lucky winner. Here is what you need to do:It’s pretty easy, just leave a comment to this post and you are done. I’ll choose a post/person by the end of the 30th Oct. SO happy post-spamming :)

Good Luck
