Google buys Endoxon mapping startup company – update

Mike over at Blumenthals has an interesting article about the Endoxon aquisition. Thanks for the update btw. Still it’s a little confusing to me. Guess their understanding of geotargeted search is different to what mine would be.

Google buys AJAX mapping techology company

Google bought the internet and mobile businesspart of the swiss Endoxon company.

Endoxon is a developer of internet mapping solutions, mobile services, data processing, cartography, direct marketing and the Trinity software suite. Yahoo! EU Local Search with revised design and new features

Very recently we launched the 1.3 Beta Version of Local Search for UK and Germany. This release not only provides the user with a brushed up design but with some new features and enhancements.

The new design reflects several findings of user research we did in the both countries and well I think that it looks quite nice.
