thanks for stopping by! Well I don&#039;t think thats a sign of google being afraid really. As a giant like google you have to find a balance bettween overconfidence and a healthy amount of fear.

Google however is going to go down a road like microsoft as they have to up to a certain extent. They are a monster, a beast of a company now with loads of people and even more shareholders. Along with this this come allegiances.

To your last point. Well I don&#039;t think they lower competition here, although this is a interesting point of view.
