Mike over at Blumenthals has an interesting article about the Endoxon aquisition. Thanks for the update btw. Still it’s a little confusing to me. Guess their understanding of geotargeted search is different to what mine would be.

Regarding the correction capability here an interesting article on the blog of  Gregor J. Rothfuss the founder of the endoxon mapping startup that Google acquired. And  here another one on whats special about their technology GoYellow.

      [...] As Google acquired endoxon the “heart” of the mapping technology that is used on the GoYellow website earlier and given that the relevancy of the Google Maps search results is at least equal to the one of the German company there seems to be only one “area” left that is so appealing to Google that they could really think of partnering up.
