by Frank Fuchs on January 14, 2007

Stumbled again… this time into some fantastic resources for people like me “living” search.
The University of Berkeley had a 2005 Fall course called “Search Engines: Technology, Society and Business” with a large variety of great lectures by people like John Battelle: Visiting Professor, UC Berkeley School of Journalism and author of “the search” , Sergey Brin, Co-Founder, Google , Bradley Horowitz VP of Product Strategy at Yahoo!

Search Engines: Technology, Society, and Business. The World Wide Web brings much of the world’s knowledge into the reach of nearly everyone with a computer and an Internet connection. The availability of huge quantities of information at our fingertips is transforming government, business, and many other aspects
of society…

This example is the webcast of a lecture done by Dr. Jan Pederson: Yahoo Search, Manager of Search Relevance and Dr. Daniel E. Rose: Yahoo Search.

You can find the complete list of webcasts (video and audio) here.
