Yahoo! mashed up? Lo(gi)cal!- Our city launched

Yahoo! India has just released Yahoo! Our City into Beta. Given all the success that yelp, qype, insiderpages and many more social local communities have lately this seems to be a lo(gi)cal step for Yahoo! to do.

As there are companies like Upcoming and flickr to bring events and photos, 360 as a blogging and social network, deliciuos, MyWeb social bookmarking services and very lately MyBlogLog they have quite a huge box of toys to digg stuff out.

And MyBlogLog could add even more spice to the new mashup - methinks.

[...] There is another Hack Day project that  made it to a product - remeber ourcity? -  Yahoo! Map Mixer. Nimit and David have come up with the hack that is described like this.
