Control the pictures of your business on Google Maps

Jess Lee over at Googleblog posted that you now can see images of businesses on Google Maps.

Here is an example of a honolulu hotel

As Barry Schwartz points out over at Searchengineland these seem to be images ranking highly for some search terms related to your business - Philipp over at Google Blogoscoped tells us the images of his example are from Yelp.com - either way you might want to

control what’s showing up for your business there

And you can … just go to the Google Local Business Center where you now got the opportunity to upload up to ten images to your business profile.

      True… I’ve seen better pictures. The Hawaii Prince can hardly even be seen in the photo. They should also upload a picture of the breakfast buffet, it’s one of the best in Hawaii.

      agree not the best image however can’t really tell as I’ve never been there :( I’m really jealous about where your office is located!
