I quite like it. The new Google My Map mashup generator. As you could read everywhere in the blog-sphere, the Google guys have launched what is called My Maps this week – which allows you to build your own custom maps and share them with others.

Although this not a brand new idea – mapbuilder and others have been out there for quite some time – Its done very well, pretty easy to use – and as expected quite flexible. Which might worry some developers

You can add markers, fill them with text and images or even video – well at least as long as they are from Google Video or Youtube – Yahoo! Video did work in the testrun but after saving the map the embedded code is deleted :( . However Flickr images worked fine. Playing with possible abusive stuff I found that you could NOT put your adsense code or iframes into the information bubbles …

I’ve played around and produced this wonderful mashup :)
