Now this is one hell of a great feature, that Google Maps launched yesterday. The YouTube-style Embeddable Maps.

I do very well remember when I first implemented maps on a site via an API - it took me like two hours to figure how to get a API key, generate a long and a lat to center the map, place a marker etc. and last but not least to implement the code on the site.

It was one of the things you don’t do that often and you forget about over time until you need it again…

Simple is good complex is bad.
