Just flipped through the latest wired and stumbled across this service. They seemingly connect to a couple of search sources and present the results in what they deem to be a more adequate way to the specific search topic.
…Viewzi is a whole new way to experience search. Instead of one big list, you get nice visual Views tailored for the content you are looking for.
It’s all about Views
We think there are better ways to present information than in a simple list. We start with specific topics or search terms and ask: “Is there a better way to present this data?” The result? Dozens of new, unique ‘views’, or ways to look at information, each custom-tailored for that content. It’s the right data, presented in the right way…
Interesting approach I think. I don’t think this, on it’s own, will make people change their habits but it might give an idea of how the interface can play a role in making data more easily accessible.
