In Vegas finally – first day @ CES today

After 16 hours of traveling from Munich to Las Vegas via Chicago I did arrive at the MGM Grand last night.
The flight with UA was a so so experience – not really the most pleasant I have been on. I did upgrade from economy to premium economy while waiting to board in Munich. And as the cost was relatively low (65 Euro) I was pretty happy as I thought the premium economy at UA would be like the Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy program – but it wasn’t.
Really just some 20 cm more room between the seat rows. That is what you get there – not really bad but miles from other premium economy programs.
The connection at Chicago was quite another experience – what a chaos I did at that point regret that I checked in my camera equipment – but all worked out well and besides a very very very chatty guy in the seat next to me telling me stories about his profession all went pretty smooth and I checked in at the hotel round about 8 pm yesterday.
Today is my first day at CES – now off to breakfast and then via Monorail to the convention center.
