After my day one at the CES 2009 here in Las Vegas I’m just going through my notes and sorting the pictures I’ve taken.
Microsoft stand @ CES 2009 Las Vegas
Another one for me was meeting Mikko V. Ollila, Senior Product Manager in Microsoft’s Online Service Group, working on the Windows Live toolbar for which MSFT has signed distribution deals with Dell ans Sun which were announced lately.
Mikko was covering the Live Search stand demonstrating some of the handy and new features in the Live Search portfolio. I’ll do a seperate post about a handy feature of Live Search that was new – at least to me.

Windows 7 stand CES 2009
The Windows 7 stand was the center of attention and even so right now the public beta download is “exceeding” the expectations.
Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenal — we’re in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We’re sorry for the delay and we’ll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience.
Once its back up you can download the Windows 7 Beta here.There were lots of other highlights like the concept fold-able netbook presented by ASUS.
