I haven’t seen this till right now – maybe just because it didn’t work on my windows laptop, but there seem to be 3D shapes for buildings on Google maps now.

BMW ConnectedDrive – Extends Local Search to UK and Italy

After Germany, home of the car manufacturer BMW, the incar local search service of Google Maps now covers Italia and UK as well.

The cooperative of Yahoo! and Dash will provide an incar local search service as well – whilst here you will not need to buy a $50,000 car first to find the nearest sushi place ;)

Now this is one hell of a great feature, that Google Maps launched yesterday. The YouTube-style Embeddable Maps.

Unfortunately, we cannot approve your request

So meanwhile I tried to go the official way and ask for approval to use the Google logo on my little page on Local Search.
And I was quite surprised that I got my answer within a couple of hours …. I wonder this had something to do with an article on valleywag or the one on blogoscoped.
